I'm glad you asked because compatible numbers changed my life. I like to say that compatible numbers are numbers that go together to make math easy. A lot of people who are good at math use them to quickly add, subtract, multiply and divide. Most of us were taught to use the slowest and most difficult math techniques possible. That is why most people dislike math or dare I say, hate it. But take it from a former math hater. Math can be creative, easy and fun if you learn the easy way of doing it.
